Competitions

The school actively participates in a range of sporting competitions, against other schools in the Longhua District. We have football teams across all aged groups, ranging from Under 6, Under 8, Under 10, Under 12 and Under 14. Both our girls and boys compete in the teams. The school has had recent success against other public schools and international schools. The school also has an impressive track record at golf. The school has won the Longhua District Golf Team trophy for the past two years and has an established student athlete programme in partnership with the PGA. This partnership allows our more advanced golfers to compete on the PGA Junior Tour. The school also has student representation on the Ice Castle’s Ice Hockey team which trains and plays regular matches at the ice rink opposite the school. At this same venue individual students learn to skate. Our more advanced skaters compete regularly at this venue, which provides excellent facilities for their competition development.

The school also has a strong reputation at the game of tennis. Recently, one of our Prep 6 students reached the final of the prestigious Longhua District School Championships.

The school also competes at basketball and swimming against other local schools.

The school intends to be full members of the Association of China and Mongolia International Schools (ACAMIS) conference. ACAMIS is a large conference with 60 member schools which organises a variety of activities. We also intend to enter teams in the Pearl River Conference (PRC). The PRC is a local sports division for international schools within Shenzhen, Macau, Hong Kong, Zhuhai, Dongguan and Guangzhou.
